In order for parents to stay informed about what we are doing in ELA this year, continuously check back here for reminders, updates, news, and resources. Thank you for your involvement in helping shape your child into a lifelong learner!
What you should know about ELA this year:
-I am thrilled to have your child in class! I value each of my students as individuals with different needs and styles of learning. I have a master's degree in Special Education, and that guides the way that I present my lessons. I aim to get all students involved.
-I encourage my students to be active learners. This means that I always want them to be engaged in what we are doing. I promote the idea of our class being a team, and as such, all team members must contribute. While I ensure that work gets done during class time, it's the support coming from you at home that can help ensure that work also gets done outside of class. WE are a team as well.
-The fastest way to contact me if you ever have questions is through e-mail at [email protected].
Upcoming Events:
Wednesday, September 4: Curriculum Night
Wednesday, September 11: Ice Cream Social
Thursday, September 12: PTO Meeting
